About Kumar Painter – Mukerian
In this holy task, I was very ably assisted by my wife, Mrs. Poonam. From 1991-92 year I have been performing the last rites of all those who die unclaimed. These UNIDENTIFIED asthies are marked and then hand over to there relatives. We not only cremate their dead bodies, but also go to Haridwar for consigning the ashes into “THE HOLY GANGA JI” this gives me a deep and gratifying mental satisfaction.
I would be failing in my duties, if don’t Mention SUSHRI DEVA JI MAHARAJ of SHAKTI ASHRAM, MUKERIAN who had a deep effect on my mind since 1991-92. She was a great source of inspiration for me in all that I did and am presently doing.
I, Baldev Kumar, popularly known as “KUMAR PAINTER” was born to Mr. CHET RAM JI & Mrs. GULLAN DEVI in 1952 at Bhakhra Nangal Town. After my schooling 1969 I choose to settle down in Mukerian. In the initial years I tried my hand in profession of cycle repair. But in 1971, I choose painting as profession and become a painter artist. In this profession Mr. Soudagar was my Guru. This hobby by any by becomes my profession and I come to be known in the area as “KUMAR PAINTER”. जो आर्थिक रूप से सक्षम नहीं है वो अपने दिवंगत परिजनों का अस्थि विसर्जन बिना किसी आर्थिक बोझ के कर सके और मैं उनकी सेवार्थ काम आ सकूं। ईश्वर ने मुझे इस लायक बनाया है कि मैं लोगों के सेवार्थ किसी काम आ सकूं तो मैं अपने आप को धन्य समझूंगा :- “Baldev Kumar KUMAR PAINTER”
